The Agape Center is a safe, supportive place for people to gather and grow mentally, physically, and in their relationship with Jesus. We offer year-round programming and mentorship for kids, teens, and adults in Roseland, Chicago, where we have been serving our neighbors since 1979.

Programs & Events

Children’s Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camp is a safe, fun place for Chicago kids to enjoy the summer, build positive relationships, and learn about Jesus through the Bible. Features Bible lessons, gym games, arts & crafts, reading, and fun field trips.

GRADES: Children entering 1st-8th grade this coming Fall 2026
What to do with older children? You can have them apply for our Teen Summer Jobs Program (see below)
DATES: Monday, June 15 – Thursday, July 9
DAYS/TIMES: Monday – Thursday from 1:00–4:30 p.m.
LUNCH?: An optional lunch will be offered from 12:30–1:00 p.m.
COST: Register your 1st child for the entire program for $20; each additional child is $10.
Registration is limited to 60 children.

The Bridge Young Adult Bible Study

Join this young adult Bible study gathering for encouraging community, spiritual growth, and steps to adulting with Jesus.

Age Range: 18 (post high school) – 25 years old
Days/Times: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 7:00 p.m.– 8:30 p.m.

After-School Program Volunteers

We looking for adult volunteers who are following Jesus and are involved in a local church to supervise our child and teen programs. Volunteers will serve one or more days a week. Sound like you? Fill out our volunteer interest form.
