A delicious meal, quality school supplies, Easter treats, and essential hygiene products can lead to life transformations. These items, supplied by Cru® Inner City through the Compassionate Products™ initiative, serve as introductions between urban churches and the people in their neighborhoods. Volunteers distribute these gifts while sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with those in the inner city.
We offer four Compassionate Products, which are distributed seasonally by our church partners in Los Angeles: Boxes of Love®, Easter Bags, Homeless Care Kits, and PowerPacks®.
A simple Thanksgiving meal can lead to the greatest thanks of all. When church members distribute boxes filled with all the ingredients for a warm, nourishing Thanksgiving meal, they’re also sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
Simple Easter treats like candy, toys, crayons, and kid-friendly gospel materials become much more than a one-day joy when they serve as an introduction to the life-changing hope of Christ’s resurrection.
People affected by homelessness are given a caring welcome when they receive a warm blanket, cozy hat, gloves, new socks, gospel materials, and fresh toiletries in a Homeless Care Kit distributed by a local church.
Back-to-school season can be stressful for families whose resources are already stretched thin, but they will feel the love and support of their local church when receiving PowerPacks filled with essential school supplies.
