Although we wish Thanksgiving were the start of a happy holiday season for everyone, the world is not what it should be. Many families with fewer resources will have holidays that are less than joyful this year.
Options can be limited for families struggling to make ends meet around the holidays. Thanksgiving options are often to celebrate in a church basement or community center with strangers, or to not celebrate at all. Boxes of Love give families the dignity of a third choice, the one that most families would prefer: to celebrate with loved ones within the four walls of their own home.
