Is your inner-city church interested in partnering with us to open S.A.Y. Yes!® Center for Youth Development at your church? Here is an overview of the process of opening a center.

Opening a New Center: The Typical Process

  • Church (or ministry) expresses strong interest
  • Vision and planning time
  • Church (or ministry) and key leadership (including pastor and/or director) agrees with the mission statement, purpose statement, and guiding values
  • Center director and key staff participate in local training
  • S.A.Y. Yes! Center opens
  • In Cru partner cities, on-site visits and ongoing training (on-site, off-site, and online)

Upcoming Training Sessions

Training sessions are offered in cities across the country throughout the school year. Please contact the Cru Youth Development coordinator in your city for details about upcoming training sessions.

S.A.Y. Yes! Training

This training is to help equip you as a church/ministry in your efforts to minister holistically to kids during the after-school hours by offering a mentoring tutoring program that offers a snack, homework help, recreation and Bible time. We will cover topics like:

  • Recruiting a team of volunteers/leaders
  • Life-on-life mentoring
  • Classroom management and discipline
  • Framework for your after-school program and curriculum

Life-on-Life Teen Mentoring Training

Mentoring ministry for grades 7–12.

There are no new training sessions scheduled at this time.
